Emily Becker is the Program Director at Slough Farm, where she oversees a dynamic mix of arts, agriculture, and education initiatives. She works closely with visiting artists, local educators, and community partners to create programs that support creative practice, ecological awareness, and inclusive community engagement.
A Martha’s Vineyard native, Emily grew up deeply connected to the island’s creative and agricultural traditions. Before returning home, she spent a decade in Los Angeles building a successful career in the fashion industry, developing a keen eye for design, collaboration, and storytelling. She now brings that creative perspective—and her love for the island community—to her work shaping meaningful, place-based programs at Slough Farm.
