FIELD TRIPS
Throughout the year, we welcome school groups from preschool to high school from across the Island to help out around the fields and learn about agriculture in our community. Our staff works closely with teachers and educators to create experiences that expand on what is being learned in the classroom. Students ages 2 to 18 are invited to participate in all parts of the farm from caring for animals to harvesting vegetables and processing wool for felting and spinning. We have discussed processing grains and what animals eat on a farm as well as watched sheep give birth! We love having school groups on our farm and encourage educators to contact us if they’d like to lend a hand here on the farm.
