Programming
Curiosity is welcome here. Through classes, workshops, and field trips, our public programs invite people of all ages to slow down, engage with the natural world, and pick up skills that actually mean something. From the soil to the studio, every program is rooted in hands-on learning and a deeper connection to where we live.
Visusal Arts
Pick up a brush, a pencil, or a needle and see what happens. Our visual arts programs — painting, drawing, sculpture, plein air, textile art, collage, and more — are designed for all ages and skill levels, with the farm and its surroundings as constant inspiration. Whether you're stepping into a studio for the first time or looking to deepen an existing practice, these classes are an invitation to slow down, look closely, and make something that's entirely your own.
Culinary
What's ripe is what's on the menu — and what's in season goes beyond the garden. Our cooking and baking classes follow the farm through every season, teaching you the best ways to handle whatever the fields and pastures have to offer. Kids learn to chop, sauté, and taste their way through the harvest. Adults dig into knife skills, butchery, preservation, and pastry — always guided by what's fresh, not a prescribed recipe. Come ready to cook with what's here.
movement
Come move your body. Whether you're flowing, sculpting, or finding your zen in Kripalu Yoga, our beautiful wood-beamed movement room is the kind of space that makes you actually want to show up. Our classes meet you where you are and leave you feeling better than when you walked in. We also offer a dedicated series for expecting mothers — because growing a human is hard work, and you deserve a space that's equal parts movement, community, and genuine care.
Agriculture
Get your hands dirty. Our agricultural programs teach practical, real-world skills rooted in the rhythms of the farm — from tending animals and growing your own food to coaxing the perfect bouquet out of a summer cutting garden. Meet the animals, bottle-feed a lamb, and start to understand what regenerative agriculture really looks and feels like from the ground up. Bring the kids for Garden Club, sunflower planting, horsemanship, or our 4-H program. However you want to connect with the land, we've got a way in.
Ceramics
Get your hands dirty in a different way. Our ceramics studio welcomes makers of all ages — drop into weekly open studios for kids, teens, and adults, or sink your teeth into a project-based workshop that takes clay somewhere unexpected. Think fiber arts, culinary traditions, and creative combinations we haven't even dreamed up yet. If it can be made by hand, it probably belongs here.
Writing & performance
Some things are best said out loud. Through storytelling, music, poetry, and creative writing, our programs invite you to explore what language can do in your hands — and your voice. Workshops are equal parts craft and courage, digging into the building blocks of great writing and performance while making space for the kind of artistic risk-taking that only happens in a truly supportive community. Whether you're finding your voice for the first time or sharpening a practice you've carried for years, these classes are designed to stretch you, surprise you, and remind you why stories matter. Come ready to write, perform, and listen deeply.
Fiber Arts
It starts with the sheep. Using wool from our own Tunis flock, our fiber arts classes take you from pasture to project through needle felting, wet felting, weaving, mending, and more. Whether you're picking up a needle for the first time or deepening an existing practice, there's something genuinely grounding about working with a natural material you can trace all the way back to the source. These hands-on classes celebrate the full connection between animals, the land, and creative expression — and leave you with something beautiful made entirely by hand.
Place-based learning connects education to the local environment, community, and culture, helping learners build meaningful relationships with where they live. By learning through direct experience of a place, participants gain a deeper understanding of ecology, history, and shared responsibility for the land and community.
